This heaven sent meteorite was found in an area of the same name, in Argentina, about 500 miles north-northwest of Buenos Aires.

The name “Campo del Cielo” means “field of the sky/heaven” and was named by Spanish explorers during the conquest of South America. Local Indians had explained how the numerous meteorites found in this region had “fallen from the sky”.

Included in Dagmar Holubova’s collection, this wonderful and fascinating device displays a genuine meteorite; a shooting star that has fallen to earth.

A unique item that is quite literally from out of this world, you will enjoy this 5,000 year old item with guests marvelling at the novel display device.
